Healthy Savannah was founded in 2007 with the goal of making Savannah the healthiest city of US; by creating awareness about obesity and the healthy choices to be made by every family in the city. SCAD's Print Studio Class (2011) collaborated with the organization to help them get one step closer to their goal by developing a communication that is easily accessible and understood by all.
Phase 1: Based on the research and the target audience data we collected while working in teams, I created a unique and strong brand strategy that centered on the idea Connect Inspire Grow.
Phase 2: Redesigned the brand mark from the point of view of target audience, business associates and government organizations while staying true to its new strategy/tagline. This led to the development of a brand/design manual that gave the organization a humanistic, strong and unique character. Also, two mascots were designed for better communication across the city, which represented Healthy Savannah's health evangelists.
