This collection was built on Resilience, inspired from the landscape and florals of Death Valley. Amanda and me worked on Concept to Application for these stories that were broken down into 3 Chapters and launched over 3 consecutive weeks in Spring across Footwear, Apparel and Accessories.
‘Land of the Survivor’ was influenced by the topography of Death Valley and the evolution of plants and creatures that survive here. The prints and textures in this collection share a muted color palette inspired by the landscape and tell the story of adaptability.
This Chapter ‘We Rise Again’ is dedicated to those who do not give up. The conditions to survive may be tough and failure is part of the journey. The prints here celebrate the contrasts in life and use bold graphics to tell the story.
The last Chapter ‘Superbloom’ brings in the color and energy that celebrates the patience and effort that is rewarded in the end. Each wildflower that blooms in Death Valley, was hand sketched and put together for a print.
